Strength Enhancement and Redundant Design of the Electromagnetic Repulsion Valve for High-Speed Switch Hydraulic Mechanisms

open access: yesEnergies
As a control structure, the magnetic repulsion device is applied in the high-speed switch hydraulic operating mechanism. It must not only move quickly but also stop precisely.

Evolution of Clouds of Migrating Micro-particles with Hydrodynamic and Electrostatic Interactions

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2017
The evolution of a migrating cloud of particles with electrohydrodynamic interactions is numerically investigated. The hydrodynamic interaction is modelled by Oseen dynamics in the limit of small-but-finite particle Reynolds number.

The phenomenon of lexical repulsion in text

open access: yes, 2008
The advances in computing technology which made possible the study of electronic text in large quantities opened the door to the study of lexis, and crucially of significant word collocation.

1T‐to‐2H Phase Evolution During Epitaxial Growth of Transition Metal Dichalcogenides

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
During MOCVD growth of MoS2 and WSe2, a transient metallic 1T phase emerges in early, edge‐rich, chalcogen‐deficient domains and declines as the films ultimately coalesce as 2H material. Together, experiments and ReaxFF simulations link domain size, edge stoichiometry, and vacancies to this evolution.

Charge‐Reversed Lipid Nanoparticles Enable Encapsulation of Pt2L4 Nanocages for In vivo Anti‐Cancer Treatment

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Charge‐reversed lipid nanoparticles (revLNPs) enable efficient encapsulation and delivery of cationic Pt2L4 nanocages. Encapsulation preserves potent anticancer activity while improving circulation, reducing vascular leakage, and promoting favorable biodistribution in vivo.

A Simple Descriptor for Solid‐State Ionic Conductors Across Chemistries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Researchers develop a simple and transferable descriptor, distance contraction, for solid‐state ion migration across Li‐, Na‐, K‐, and Mg‐ion conductors and diverse anion chemistries. By capturing the maximum local contraction experienced by the migrating ion, the descriptor enables rapid materials screening and unifies diverse ion‐transport mechanisms.

Study on the fast response characteristics and mechanical reliability of high-voltage circuit breaker solenoid valves

open access: yesScientific Reports
The response time of conventional hydraulic operating mechanism solenoid valves is slow, which affects the circuit breaker tripping time. We propose a design scheme for the electromagnetic repulsion tripping device, establishing a multiphysics coupling ...
