Problem-Frame-Oriented Requirements Traceability to Enhance Requirements Management

open access: yesJOIV: International Journal on Informatics Visualization
Managing software requirements is a challenge in software development and maintenance. Requirements changes are inevitable, particularly in a rapid iterative development approach that leads to occasional changes in software requirements. Unable to manage

QUALITY RESEARCH MANAGEMENT IMPROVES DESIGN RESEARCH EFFECTIVENESS

open access: yesSouth African Journal of Industrial Engineering, 2019
Design research projects are often more complex than initially perceived due to a requirement for novelty, the creativity inherent in the design process, and the limited experience of novice researchers.

A Survey on Blockchain Acquainted Software Requirements Engineering: Model, Opportunities, Challenges, and Future Directions

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2022
Requirements are the basis of software development practices. Ambiguities in requirements lead a project to a point of failure or penalize it with a high budget and time for defect traceability.

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

Conserved structural motifs in PAS, LOV, and CRY proteins regulate circadian rhythms and are therapeutic targets

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cryptochrome and PAS/LOV proteins play intricate roles in circadian clocks where they act as both sensors and mediators of protein–protein interactions. Their ubiquitous presence in signaling networks has positioned them as targets for small‐molecule therapeutics. This review provides a structural introduction to these protein families.

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Establishment of continuous force calibration system at TUBITAK UME force laboratory in Turkey

open access: yesMeasurement: Sensors, 2021
Piezoelectric force sensors are force measuring devices used effectively in machinery, aerospace and defense industries also these devices need to be calibrated periodically. Unfortunately, until now, a national traceability service could not be provided

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.
