Personalized Network‐Guided Neuromodulation Enhances Human Working Memory

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A personalized neuromodulation framework combining individualized functional brain network targeting with real‐time neural decoding is introduced. Using concurrent TMS–fMRI, participant‐specific stimulation targets and optimal frequencies are identified. Only optimal‐frequency stimulation improves working memory across sessions.

The Trichinella Super‐Pangenome Reveals the Evolution of Encapsulation and Predicted Host–Parasite Protein Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The muscle capsule of Trichinella is a critical structure that impedes immune attacks and drug penetration, yet the molecular mechanisms underlying its formation remain poorly understood. Using a high‐quality super‐pangenome comprising 12 Trichinella species, we compared extensive genomic variations between encapsulating and non‐encapsulating ...

Diffusion differentiable resampling

open access: yesCoRR
This paper is concerned with differentiable resampling in the context of sequential Monte Carlo (e.g., particle filtering). We propose a new informative resampling method that is instantly differentiable, based on an ensemble score diffusion model. We theoretically prove that our diffusion resampling method provides a consistent resampling distribution,

ML Workflows for Screening Degradation‐Relevant Properties of Forever Chemicals

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The environmental persistence of per‐ and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) necessitates efficient remediation strategies. This study presents physics‐informed machine learning workflows that accurately predict critical degradation properties, including bond dissociation energies and polarizability.

A CNN based hybrid approach towards automatic image registration

open access: yesGeodesy and Cartography, 2013
Image registration is a key component of spatial analyses that involve different data sets of the same area. Automatic approaches in this domain have witnessed the application of several intelligent methodologies over the past decade; however accuracy of

Multi‐Omics Insights Into the Mechanisms of Early Muscle Fiber Difference and Transformation Between Lean‐Type and Chinese Indigenous Pigs

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Multi‐omics analyses uncover breed‐specific cis‐regulatory landscapes and higher‐order chromatin architectural differences that underlie early postnatal muscle fiber divergence in pigs. A super‐enhancer upstream of PPP3CB recruits MEF2C to activate PPP3CB transcription, while the PPP3CB–MEF2C positive feedback loop promotes oxidative muscle fiber ...

An Improved MbICP Algorithm for Mobile Robot Pose Estimation

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2018
This paper presents an improved version of the metric-based iterative closest point algorithm to estimate robot poses by matching 2D laser scans with different overlapping percentages. Because of the greatly varied density distribution of realistic point

High‐Throughput Data Generation and Transfer Learning Enabled Microstructure‐Property Integrated Design of Nickel‐Based Powder Metallurgy Superalloy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An integrated transfer learning framework integrates CALPHAD simulations, diffusion‐multiple experiments, and literature data to predict long‐term microstructural stability and short‐term mechanical properties of Ni‐based powder metallurgy superalloys. Based on these model predictions, a high‐performance, low‐density alloy, USTB‐PM750, is designed from
