Residual voltage of the electrical equipment [PDF]

open access: yesSPIE Proceedings, 2010
ABSTRACT The rapid development of electronic products today, it is a very important part of that electric shock prevention remains the safety design of electronic products. When unplug the electrical equipment, the voltage in each pin of the plug is residual voltage.

Accurate Performance of Residual Voltage Transfer Schemes [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, 2014
Transferring motor loads from one bus to another bus, due to a source disconnection from a main–tie–main arrangement, is not a trivial action. The transfer is dependent on detection of breakers' status, switch positions, and accurate measurements of line and bus voltages. The mechanism of transferring loads from one bus to the other imposes a number of

Induction motor residual voltage [PDF]

open access: yesConference Record of the 1990 IEEE Industry Applications Society Annual Meeting, 2002
The residual voltage in an induction motor under an interrupted power supply condition is considered. The electromagnetic shock at the end of the motor coil due to the excessive surge current and the mechanical impact due to the greater transient torque are investigated.

Residual voltage endurance of generator insulation systems [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of 2014 International Symposium on Electrical Insulating Materials, 2014
The insulation system of a generator is stressed by electrical, mechanical and thermal loads during the whole lifetime. By the means of diagnostic measurements the worsening of the condition within the dielectric system can be evaluated. To ensure the operational safety for the next maintenance period a hipot test with raised level can be applied.

The Circuit Design of Residual Voltage Test For Electric Products [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Procedia, 2012
Many national standards have requirements about the maximum value of residual voltage for electrical equipments[1], it requires to measure residual voltage accurately, the human body may have a certain degree of security risk if the measured value is ...

Residual Voltage in Polyethylene

Japanese Journal of Applied Physics, 1982
A considerably high residual voltage can be observed even in non-degraded polyethylene by a non-contacting method using an electrostatic voltmeter. This residual voltage increases nonlinearly with increasing applied voltage and duration of voltage application, but decreases as the duration of short-circuiting is increased.

S1 hydrophobic residues modulate voltage sensing phosphatase enzymatic function and voltage sensing

2023
Abstract The voltage sensing domain (VSD) is a four-helix modular protein domain that converts electrical signals into conformational changes, leading to open pores and active enzymes. In most voltage sensing proteins, the VSDs do not interact with one another and the S1-S3 helices are considered mainly as scaffolding.

Xerographic Development of Residual Voltage Variations

IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications, 1983
Ideally, photoreceptor voltages are discharged to a low residual in background regions of the document being copied. However, large fluctuations of photoreceptor potential caused by charge nonuniformity, photoreceptor defects, or imperfect cleaning can be tolerated if the perturbations are spatially small.
