Model of Vertical Resistivity Distribution of Rock Layers in Jeneberang watershed [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) or Watershed is the accumulation of material from Jeneberang\ud debris avalanche of Mount Bawakaraeng. The Resistivity material from several types of rock\ud settling needs to be identified by using the geoelectric geophysical ...

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Fast imaging techniques of marine controlled source electromagnetic (CSEM) data

open access: yes, 2008
Obtaining information regarding the resistivity structure of the subsurfacefrom marine CSEM data involves complex processes. 1D and 2D forward and inversemodelling are currently the standard approaches used to produce geoelectrical models, with 3D ...

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...

Joint Elastic-Electrical Properties of Reservoir Sandstones

open access: yes, 2010
Over the last decade, marine controlled source electromagnetic (CSEM), sub-seabed imaging has developed to a state where routine resistivity mapping of hydrocarbon reservoirs is now possible.

Classification of Surface Geoelectric Arrays

open access: yes, 2007
We have found in the geophysical literature more than ninety different surface geoelectric arrays, fulfilling an updated definition (specifying the current feeding, the potential difference measurement and the geometry of the electrodes).

Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Subsurface fault and colluvial wedge detection using resistivity, refraction tomography and seismic reflection

open access: yes, 2012
Electric resistivity tomography (ERT), seismic refraction tomography, and seismic reflection are widely used in shallow geological applications such as fault detection. In this work we use the three methods to find and trace a shallow subsurface fault. A

The role of concrete resistivity in chloride-induced macro-cell corrosion of reinforcement

open access: yes, 2015
Norwegian concrete structures are exposed to salt contamination from both sea water and de-icing salts. Chlorides penetrate the concrete cover and initiate corrosion of the reinforcement.
