Search for decays of the 125 GeV Higgs boson into a Z boson and a ρ or ϕ meson

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
Decays of the 125 GeV Higgs boson into a Z boson and a ρ0(770) or ϕ(1020) meson are searched for using proton-proton collision data collected by the CMS experiment at the LHC at s $$ \sqrt{s} $$ = 13 TeV.

Morning sector drift-bounce resonance driven ULF waves observed in artificially-induced HF radar backscatter [PDF]

open access: yesAnnales Geophysicae, 2002
HF radar backscatter, which has been artificially-induced by a high power RF facility such as the EISCAT heater at Tromsø, has provided coherent radar ionospheric electric field data of unprecedented temporal resolution and accuracy. Here such data

Elementary Excitations of Ferromagnetic Metal Nanoparticles

open access: yes, 2003
We present a theory of the elementary spin excitations in transition metal ferromagnet nanoparticles which achieves a unified and consistent quantum description of both collective and quasiparticle physics.

Study of single particle charge and Brownian motions with surface plasmon resonance.

open access: yesApplied Physics Letters, 2010
We demonstrated a method to accurately measure the zeta potentials and surface charges of individual particles by surface plasmon resonance microscopy (SPRM).

Implications of the 750 GeV gamma-gamma Resonance as a Case Study for the International Linear Collider

open access: yes, 2016
If the gamma-gamma resonance at 750 GeV suggested by 2015 LHC data turns out to be a real effect, what are the implications for the physics case and upgrade path of the International Linear Collider?

The Balmer-Like Formula for Mass Distribution of Elementary Particle Resonances [PDF]

open access: yesActa Phys.Polon. B29 (1998) 2493-2500, 1998
Elementary particle resonances have been systematically analysed using all available experimental data. We have come to the conclusion that the resonance decay prodact momenta and masses of resonances are to be quantized. The Balmer- like formula for masses of elementary particle resonances was obtained.

Space charge dynamics in high intensity rings

open access: yesPhysical Review Special Topics. Accelerators and Beams, 1999
Uncontrolled beam losses due to space-charge-induced halo generation are a concern in high intensity rings, which are characterized by high beam intensities and low uncontrolled beam loss requirements.

Origin of Borromean systems

open access: yes, 2004
The complex energies of the three-body resonances for one infinitely heavy particle and two non-interacting light particles are the sum of the two contributing two-body complex resonance energies.

Structure resonance crossing in space charge dominated beams [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
As an extension of previous theoretical study on the coherent structure resonance due to space charge effects [Chao Li and R. A. Jameson, Phys. Rev. Accel. Beams 21, 024204, 2018], this paper aims to demonstrate how the beam, as a whole, is spontaneously affected when the predicted mixed coherent 2nd/4th order structure resonance stop band around $90^{\

Large loop-coupling enhancement of a heavy pseudoscalar from a light dark sector

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2017
The small background and the sensitivity to charged particles via a leading order loop coupling make the diphoton channel a privileged experimental test for new physics models.
