Junctionless Silicon Nanowire Resonator
The development of nanoelectromechanical systems (NEMS) is likely to open up a broad spectrum of applications in science and technology. In this paper, we demonstrate a novel double-transduction principle for silicon nanowire resonators, which exploits ...

Optimization of thermal regimes of microwave resonators digital active phased array antenna
Objective. The aim of the study is to simulate resonators for microwave digital active phased antenna arrays (DFAAR) in the microwave range, which will optimize the parameters of the antenna system for more reliable direction finding with high ...

Strong magnetic coupling between an electronic spin qubit and a mechanical resonator [PDF]
We describe a technique that enables a strong, coherent coupling between a single electronic spin qubit associated with a nitrogen-vacancy impurity in diamond and the quantized motion of a magnetized nano-mechanical resonator tip.

New narrow resonance in the $e^+ e^- \to φη$ data by Belle collaboration [PDF]
Fitting the recent $e^+e^-\ra\phi\,\eta$ data by the Belle collaboration with a theoretical formula reveals, besides the dominant $\phi(1680)$ resonance, two narrow resonances: expected $\phi(2170)$ resonance and an unexpected resonance with the mass of about 1851 MeV.

Storage and on-demand release of microwaves using superconducting resonators with tunable coupling
We present a system which allows to tune the coupling between a superconducting resonator and a transmission line. This storage resonator is addressed through a second, coupling resonator, which is frequency-tunable and controlled by a magnetic flux ...

Entanglement and decoherence of a micromechanical resonator via coupling to a Cooper box [PDF]
We analyse the quantum dynamics of a micromechanical resonator capacitively coupled to a Cooper box. With appropriate quantum state control of the Cooper box, the resonator can be driven into a superposition of spatially separated states.

Electron Spin Resonance at the Level of 10000 Spins Using Low Impedance Superconducting Resonators
We report on electron spin resonance (ESR) measurements of phosphorus donors localized in a 200 square micron area below the inductive wire of a lumped element superconducting resonator.

Dual-Band Uniaxial Dielectric Anisotropy Sensor Using Coupled-Line Resonators
In this paper, a new dual-band sensor to measure uniaxial anisotropy at two frequency bands is proposed. This sensor is composed of two dual-mode resonators separated by a T-shaped structure implemented in microstrip technology.

Toll‐like receptors (TLRs) are important in the innate immune system. This study explores the zinc‐binding ability of the TLR2 TIR domain (TLR2TIR). We found that TLR2TIR binds zinc with nanomolar affinity through its cysteine residues. Two of them, C673 and C713, are vital for receptor activation, indicating that zinc may play a role in initiating ...
