Optomechanical-like coupling between superconducting resonators [PDF]
We propose and analyze a circuit that implements a nonlinear coupling between two superconducting microwave resonators. The resonators are coupled through a superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) that terminates one of the resonators.

Zero Group Velocity Lamb Waves in Diamond/AlN-Based Layered Structures
The propagation of the Lamb-like modes along a diamond/AlN thin supported structure was simulated in order to exploit the intrinsic zero group velocity (ZGV) features to design high frequency electroacoustic resonators.

A finite element approach to the prediction of sound transmission through panels with acoustic resonators [PDF]
Previous research by the authors has shown that sound radiated by a vibrating panel can be reduced considerably by using tuned acoustic resonators. The length of the tube resonators determines the frequency range in which sound is reduced.

We investigate a numerical method for studying resonances in quantum mechanics. We prove rigorously that this method yields accurate approximations to resonance energies and widths for shape resonances in the semiclassical limit.

ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

Parametric Nanomechanical Amplification at Very High Frequency [PDF]
Parametric resonance and amplification are important in both fundamental physics and technological applications. Here we report very high frequency (VHF) parametric resonators and mechanical-domain amplifiers based on nanoelectromechanical systems (NEMS).

ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate selumetinib exposure using therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) in pediatric patients with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) and plexiform neurofibromas (PN), assess interpatient pharmacokinetic variability, and explore the relationship between drug exposure, clinical response, and adverse effects.

High-performance low-loss silicon-on-insulator microring resonators using TM-polarized light [PDF]
Microring resonators on SOI are investigated for both orthogonal polarizations. By demonstrating low-loss (1.94dB/cm) microring resonators with an intrinsic Q up to 340000 we proof that using TM-polarized light enables high-performance ...
