Job scheduling reservations on cloud resources

open access: yesIJAIN (International Journal of Advances in Intelligent Informatics)
The current application of cloud computing focuses more on research problems. One of the main problems in the cloud is job allocation. Jobs are dynamically allocated to server processors. All cloud virtualized hardware is available to users on demand and

Stability and resource allocation in project planning. [PDF]

open access: yes
The majority of resource-constrained project scheduling efforts assumes perfect information about the scheduling problem to be solved and a static deterministic environment within which the pre-computed baseline schedule is executed.

Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Adaptive scheduling strategy for cloud computing resources based on Q-learning algorithm

open access: yesMechanics & Industry
Given the frequently varying loads of virtual machines and swift variations in resource demand in a cloud computing environment, this article introduces an adaptive resource scheduling strategy model based on Q-learning.

An investigation of resource-allocation decisions by means of project networks. [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper investigates the relationship between resource allocation and ES-policies, which are a type of scheduling policies introduced for stochastic scheduling and which can be represented by a directed acyclic graph.

Targeted modulation of IGFL2‐AS1 reveals its translational potential in cervical adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cervical adenocarcinoma patients face worse outcomes than squamous cell carcinoma counterparts despite similar treatment. The identification of IGFL2‐AS1's differential expression provides a molecular basis for distinguishing these histotypes, paving the way for personalized therapies and improved survival in vulnerable populations globally.

Smart performance optimization of energy‐aware scheduling model for resource sharing in 5G green communication systems

open access: yesJurnal Engineering
This paper presents an analysis of the performance of the Energy Aware Scheduling Algorithm (EASA) in a 5G green communication system. 5G green communication systems rely on EASA to manage resource sharing. The aim of the proposed model is to improve the

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.
