Aging Is a Key Driver for Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a classical age‐related hematologic malignancy, and a key driver of AML is aging, which profoundly regulates intrinsic factors such as genomic instability, epigenetic reprogramming, and metabolic dysregulation, and alters bone marrow microenvironment.

Introduction: Paediatric asthma diagnosis and monitoring often face challenges due to children’s inability to perform effort-dependent tests like spirometry. The forced oscillation technique (FOT) offers a non-invasive, effort-independent alternative for

Research progress on electrical impedance tomography for perioperative respiratory management [PDF]
Electrical impedance tomography (EIT) is a non-invasive imaging technique that generates cross-sectional images of chest by measuring changes in impedance as electric currents passing through human body.

Remote monitoring of biodynamic activity using electric potential sensors [PDF]
Previous work in applying the electric potential sensor to the monitoring of body electrophysiological signals has shown that it is now possible to monitor these signals without needing to make any electrical contact with the body.

RESPIRATORY INPUT IMPEDANCE DURING HIGH FREQUENCY OSCILLATORY VENTILATION
Total respiratory input impedance (Zrs) measured by forced excitation may be computed easily from pressure and flow measurements recorded at the airway opening. The purpose of this paper was to analyse how the information provided by Zrs may be used for monitoring ventilatory mechanics during high frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV).

ABSTRACT Objective Super‐Refractory Status Epilepticus (SRSE) is a rare, life‐threatening neurological emergency with unclear etiology in many cases. Mitochondrial dysfunction, often due to disease‐causing genetic variants, is increasingly recognized as a cause, with each gene producing distinct pathophysiological mechanisms.

Immune‐Driven Expression in Inclusion Body Myositis With T‐Cell Large Granular Lymphocytic Leukemia
ABSTRACT Objectives T‐cell large granular lymphocytic leukemia (T‐LGLL), reported in up to 58% of inclusion body myositis (IBM) patients, is a rare leukemia of cytotoxic or less commonly helper T cells. The range of myopathies in T‐LGLL and the impact of coexisting T‐LGLL in IBM are not well understood. Our objectives are to investigate the spectrum of

Respiration rate and volume measurements using wearable strain sensors. [PDF]
Current methods for continuous respiration monitoring such as respiratory inductive or optoelectronic plethysmography are limited to clinical or research settings; most wearable systems reported only measures respiration rate.

A 73‐Year‐Old Man With Several Years of Difficulty Climbing Stairs and Frequent Tripping
ABSTRACT A 73‐year‐old man presented with progressive weakness and atrophy predominantly affecting the distal finger flexors and quadriceps muscles. Electrophysiological studies demonstrated mixed myogenic and neurogenic features. Muscle MRI showed inflammatory changes, and muscle biopsy revealed granulomatous myositis with histologic features ...
