IL‐37 Mitigates the Inflammatory Response in Macrophages Induced by SARS‐CoV‐2 Omicron Infection Through the NF‐κB Signaling Pathway

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 6, Issue 6, June 2025.
IL‐37 mitigates the infiltration of macrophages and suppresses the production of macrophage‐associated chemokines (such as CCL3 and CCL4) induced by SARS‐CoV‐2 Omicron infection through NF‐κB signaling pathway. ABSTRACT The expression levels of macrophage‐associated cytokines are significantly greater in COVID‐19 patients than in healthy individuals ...

Phase Separation: A New Dimension to Understanding Tumor Biology and Therapy

open access: yesMedComm – Oncology, Volume 4, Issue 2, June 2025.
Liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS) facilitates the assembly of biomolecular condensates by leveraging weak multivalent interactions. The low‐complexity domains, foldable domains of proteins, and nucleic acids provide multivalent interaction sites among different molecules and contribute to the formation of condensates.

Evaluation of Intestinal Permeability in Children Diagnosed With Bronchiolitis in Pediatric Emergency Department: A Cross‐Sectional Study

open access: yesPediatric Pulmonology, Volume 60, Issue 6, June 2025.
ABSTRACT Background Bronchiolitis is the most common lower respiratory tract infection, with the most commonly isolated organism being respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). Despite several studies on intestinal permeability in various acute and chronic pulmonary diseases, studies examining these molecules in patients diagnosed with bronchiolitis are very ...
