Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

GW quasi-particle spectra from occupied states only

open access: yes, 2009
We introduce a method that allows for the calculation of quasi-particle spectra in the GW approximation, yet avoiding any explicit reference to empty one-electron states. This is achieved by expressing the irreducible polarizability operator and the self-

Differential expression of cancer‐related genes supports prediction of poor response to first‐line treatments in T‐ALL pediatric patients with high minimal residual disease

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the present work, we have identified a transcriptional signature based on the differential expression of six genes (BCL2&MAST4, HSH2D&LAT2, METRN&PITPNM2) that would facilitate the early detection of T‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T‐ALL) patients prone to a poor treatment response and could be implemented at diagnosis, along with other risk ...

Strong-Motion-Duration-Dependent Power Spectral Density Functions Compatible with Design Response Spectra

open access: yesGeotechnics
The development of a suitable set of input ground motions is crucial for dynamic time history analyses. The US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) requires that these motions generate response spectra closely matching the plant’s design spectrum ...

Propose of Capacity Spectrum Method by Nonlinear Earthquake Response Analysis

open access: yesJournal of the Computational Structural Engineering Institute of Korea, 2014
Abstract In this paper, a method on deducing the capacity spectrum based on nonlinear earthquake response analysis will be introduced. Damage assessment of general building draws the capacity spectrum through the Push-over analysis and the intersection point of capacity spectrum and demand spectrum is seen as performance point.

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

A numerical comparison of random vibration theory and time histories based methods for equivalent-linear site response analyses

open access: yesInternational Journal of Geo-Engineering, 2017
Dynamic site response is usually implemented using an equivalent-linear approach through analyses based on time-histories or random vibration theory (RVT).

Some problems in the application of spectrum techniques to strong-motion earthquake analysis [PDF]

open access: yes, 1962
A comparison of analog and digital computation of strong-motion earthquake response spectra is made, and it is shown that the preference as to method will depend mainly on availability of computing equipment.

Optical Absorption Spectra of Bipolarons

open access: yes, 2001
The absorption of large bipolarons is investigated using the path-integral method. The response of a bipolaron to an external electromagnetic field is derived in the framework of the memory-function approach.

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...
