The scalar perturbation spectral index n_s: WMAP sensitivity to unresolved point sources [PDF]
Precision measurement of the scalar perturbation spectral index, n_s, from the Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe temperature angular power spectrum requires the subtraction of unresolved point source power. Here we reconsider this issue.

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

Design response spectrum based on shock-waveform decomposition method
This study applies the shock-waveform (SW) decomposition method, originally developed for mechanical shock analysis, to earthquake ground motions. It reveals a general shape similarity between the envelope of the Pseudo-Spectral Accelerations (PSAs) of SW decomposed components and the PSA of the corresponding ground motion.

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Structural design in Europe should strongly follow EN 1998-1 or so called Eurocode 8 (EC8), for a seismic resistance assessment of structures. Eurocode 8 recommends two linear methods and two nonlinear methods.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Sky reconstruction from transit visibilities: PAON-4 and Tianlai Dish Array
The spherical harmonics $m$-mode decomposition is a powerful sky map reconstruction method suitable for radio interferometers operating in transit mode. It can be applied to various configurations, including dish arrays and cylinders.

Basroparib inhibits YAP‐driven cancers by stabilizing angiomotin
Basroparib, a selective tankyrase inhibitor, suppresses Wnt signaling and attenuates YAP‐driven oncogenic programs by stabilizing angiomotin. It promotes AMOT–YAP complex formation, enforces cytoplasmic YAP sequestration, inhibits YAP/TEAD transcription, and sensitizes YAP‐active cancers, including KRAS‐mutant colorectal cancer, to MEK inhibition.

Nonlinear vibration analysis of vehicle–bridge interaction for condition monitoring
In this paper, we investigate vehicle–bridge interactions and propose a new method for assessing bridge conditions based on nonlinear vibration analysis.
