Benefits of Simultaneous Pacing Left Anterior/Posterior Fascicular Areas Combined with Atrioventricular Node Ablation in a Persistent Atrial Fibrillation Patient with Heart Failure: A Case Report

open access: yesClinical Medicine Insights: Cardiology
A 50-year-old male had intermittent episodes of dyspnea for 7 days with persistent atrial fibrillation (AF) for 2 years. New York Heart Association (NYHA) functional class is IV status.

Electrogram Transition Patterns During Atrial Antitachycardia Pacing‐Mediated Termination

open access: yesJournal of Arrhythmia, Volume 42, Issue 5, October 2026.
Among 1,641 aATP‐terminated episodes in 38 patients, six electrogram transition patterns were identified. Irregular post‐aATP activity was the most common pattern preceding termination, regardless of pre‐aATP regularity (47% in regular and 63% in irregular pre‐aATP episodes). Episodes with irregular pre‐aATP activity took longer to terminate (median 13

Resynchronization of a slipping synchronous machine

open access: yes, 1969
In this thesis, resynchronization of a synchronous machine from a slipping state is considered. A set of equations for the slipping machine are developed. Slip tests on a dynamic test model are done to compare with computed results.

5G Cloud‐Enabled Telemedicine for Remote Management of Heart Failure Patients With Implantable Cardioverter‐Defibrillators: A Multicenter Open‐Label Randomized Controlled Trial

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 10, October 2026.
Postoperative follow‐up for patients with implantable cardioverter‐defibrillators and cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillators (ICD/CRT‐D) is often delayed in remote areas because of geographic barriers and limited healthcare resources, increasing the risk of adverse outcomes. The “Make Changes” study, was a prospective, multicenter, open‐label

Resynchronization Weaknesses in Synchronous Stream Ciphers

open access: yes, 1994
In some applications for synchronous stream ciphers, the risk of loss of synchronization cannot be eliminated completely. In these cases frequent resynchronization or resynchronization upon request may be necessary. In the paper it is shown that this can

Post‐Market Analysis of the Xenios Console With the Xlung Tubing Kit 230 for Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation After Cardiac Surgery

open access: yesArtificial Organs, Volume 50, Issue 10, Page 1464-1475, October 2026.
This study is a comprehensive post‐market analysis of the Xenios console and XLung kit 230 preconfigured ECMO tubing set in post‐cardiotomy applications. The performance of this device was evaluated and demonstrated in all key clinical areas, with an adequate safety profile.

Abstract Journal-guided Resynchronization for Software RAID

open access: yes, 2008
We investigate the problem of slow, scan-based, software RAID resynchronization that restores consistency after a system crash. Instead of augmenting the RAID layer to quicken the process, we leverage the functionality present in a journaling file system.
