Retinal Perforation in Strabismus Surgery
Journal of Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus, 1997ABSTRACT Purpose: Perforation of the retina is a major complication of strabismus surgery. Perforating Diathermy Coagulation for Retinal Angiomas
Archives of Ophthalmology, 1976Perforating diathermy coagulation can be used efficiently to destroy large angiomas of the retina. Five patients who had developed large angiomas (greater than 5 disc diameters) in association with various retinal diseases were treated with this technique.

Ocular Perforation Following Retrobulbar Anesthesia for Retinal Detachment Surgery
American Journal of Ophthalmology, 1978We encountered three examples of the perforation of the globe by the retrobulbar needle in a series of 4,000 patients who had undergone retinal reattachment surgery with local anesthesia. The presence of significant myopia was a contributing factor in all three cases.

Corneal Perforation Associated With Argon Laser Photocoagulation for a Retinal Tear
American Journal of Ophthalmology, 1997To report a corneal perforation during argon laser photocoagulation around a retinal tear following pneumatic retinopexy. The patient was examined and found to have a corneal perforation with pigment in the base of the wound. To help explain this phenomenon, we evaluated the ability of argon blue-green laser to create a corneal perforation in a cadaver ...
