Developmental Imaging of Radish Sprouts Using Dynamic Optical Coherence Tomography

open access: yesJournal of Biophotonics, EarlyView.
We non‐invasively investigated the germination process of radish sprouts for up to 12 days using volumetric dynamic optical coherence tomography (OCT). This technique analyzes temporal fluctuation in the OCT signal. The dynamic OCT signals in the vessels and growing roots were initially high and decreased with tissue maturation.

Innovative Thermosensitive Composite Materials: Merging Poloxamer PF‐127 and Polysaccharides for Enhanced Functional Properties

open access: yesMacromolecular Materials and Engineering, EarlyView.
The poloxamer Pluronic‐F‐127‐based hydrogels are improved by the implementation of polysaccharides with different concentration ranges and structural organizations. The interactions between the polysaccharide structures and the poloxamer micellar aggregation confer the system better rheological properties and longer drug release times explained by ...

Retinal Vessel Detection

open access: yes
Vascular structures of the retina hold crucial information for the detection and diagnosis ofocular illnesses, such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration.Fluorescein angiography, scanning laser ophthalmoscopes, and fundus photography are oftenemployed techniques in the diagnosis of these illnesses (FA).
