Degradation Mechanisms, Encapsulation‐Based Stabilization, and Analytical Detection of Vitamin A

open access: yesJournal of the American Oil Chemists' Society, Volume 103, Issue 9, Page 1079-1097, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Vitamin A is an important lipid‐soluble micronutrient essential for vision, immune function, and overall growth and development. However, vitamin A is unstable and susceptible to environmental factors because of its conjugated structure and inherent chemical reactivity.

Pt‐TiO2 mesoporous nanosystem co‐delivering phlorizin enables synergistic sonodynamic‐chemoimmunotherapy for hepatocellular carcinoma via directly targeting DDX5 and metabolic reprogramming modulation

open access: yesBMEMat, Volume 4, Issue 3, September 2026.
We constructed a Pt‐TiO2 mesoporous nanocarrier to co‐deliver phlorizin for HCC synergistic sonodynamic‐chemoimmunotherapy. This nanoplatform targets DDX5 to remodel tumor metabolism, triggers mitochondrial damage, suppresses tumor proliferation, and elicits potent anti‐tumor immune responses by activating T cells and boosting immune cytokines in mice.

AU-rich RNA binding proteins in hematopoiesis and leukemogenesis

open access: yes, 2011
Posttranscriptional mechanisms are now widely acknowledged to play a central role in orchestrating gene-regulatory networks in hematopoietic cell growth, differentiation, and tumorigenesis.

Identification of lncRNAs in Breast Cancer Through Bioinformatics Analysis: Implications for Pathogenesis and Prognostic Significance

open access: yesCancer Medicine, Volume 15, Issue 9, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Objective Breast cancer (BC) is a disease with a subtle onset, often diagnosed late, and has a high mortality rate. This study aimed to identify long non‐coding RNAs (lncRNAs) linked to BC as prognostic markers using bioinformatics and initial experiments, explore their regulatory pathways, and assess their expression and prognostic ...

Antioxidant Chemistry of Phenolics in Chinese Herbal Medicines: A Holism‐Based Review

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, Volume 23, Issue 9, September 2026.
Phenolic antioxidants in CHMs mainly include chalcone, stilbene, flavonoid, xanthone, and Diels–Alder‐type adducts. They undergo direct and indirect pathways to exert antioxidant action. The indirect pathway is transition metal‐chelating, while the direct pathway comprises several redox‐based reactions (e.g., SET and HAT) and RAF reactions.

The retinol-binding cavity in RBP and CRBP.

open access: yes, 2012
Ligand binding sites show as cartoon and transparent surface respectively. The binding site surface is illustrated by meshed colors according to the electrostatic potential. We show the binding cavity in different directions to facilitate the observation

Reactive Oxygen Species in Breast Cancer: From Redox Dysregulation to ROS‐Responsive Therapeutics

open access: yesCell Biochemistry and Function, Volume 44, Issue 9, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed malignancy among women worldwide, with 2.3 million new cases and approximately 670,000 deaths reported in 2022 alone. Despite advances in therapy, metastasis and acquired drug resistance remain major clinical challenges.
