Cost–benefit analysis of screening programme for diabetic retinopathy in Bulgaria
Aims Late‐diagnosed diabetic retinopathy (DR) is difficult and expensive to treat. Screening programmes can identify the disease early and reduce the costs of its future treatment. This study aims to analyse the cost–benefit of screening programmes for DR.

Aims The glucagon‐like peptide‐1 receptor agonists (GLP‐1 RAs) semaglutide and liraglutide are approved for chronic weight management. Both drugs also have favourable effects on the risk of developing diabetes and cardiovascular disease (CVD) compared with placebo, but their comparative effectiveness for these outcomes is unclear.

Planned age of retirement and actual age of retirement
This study investigated why the age that the respondents planned to retire and the age that they actually retired differ. Using the data from the RAND Health and Retirement Study (HRS) Waves 1 (1992) through 8 (2006), we analyzed 5,727 respondents who were working and aged 51 to 61 at Wave 1. By the end of wave 8, 80.61% were retired.
