TopoMAS: Large Language Model Driven Topological Materials Multi‐Agent System

open access: yesMaterials Genome Engineering Advances, Volume 4, Issue 1, March 2026.
TopoMAS is an interactive multi‐agent framework that revolutionizes topological materials discovery through human–AI collaborative intelligence. The system integrates natural language processing, knowledge retrieval from literature and databases, crystal structure generation, and automated first‐principles calculations within a unified workflow.

State – Dependent retrial queues [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Classical retrial queues are characterized by the following feature: a call arriving when all servers are busy leaves the service area but after some random time repeats his demand. This feature plays a special role in many applications. A Markov retrial

An M/G/1 Queue with Repeated Orbit While in Service

open access: yesMathematics
Orbit and retrial queues have been studied extensively in the literature. A key assumption in most of these works is that customers “go to orbit” when they are blocked upon arrival.

An Energy‐Conscious, Regulation‐Ready and Formally Verified Security Protocol for Low‐Power Medical and Safety Devices

open access: yesIET Smart Cities, Volume 8, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This paper presents an energy‐conscious, formally verified security protocol for low‐power medical and safety IoT devices operating in regulated environments. The protocol combines lightweight cryptography with formal verification and is validated through simulation and real‐world deployment across heterogeneous platforms.

Employing the Inverse Weibull Failure Time Model to Estimate Some of the Reliability Metrics of k‐Out‐of‐n Systems

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
This paper presents a new approach to determine the mean time to system failure (MTSF) and reliability function of k‐out‐of‐n systems with independent and identically distributed components following the inverse Weibull (IW) distribution. The system remains operational when at least k of its n components function properly.

Construction and Optimization of a Cost Function in a Single‐Server Multiphase Queueing System With Hypoexponential‐k Customer Service Time

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
In this paper, a new generalized cost function construction for a single‐server multiphase queueing system with a Poisson input stream, hypoexponential‐k customer service time, and FIFO discipline is presented. A proposed relationship between service parameters in k phases is based on a geometric progression with rate α, 0 < α < 1.

Analysis of Markov multiserver retrial queues with negative arrivals [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
Negative arrivals are used as a control mechanism in many telecommunication and computer networks. In the paper we analyze multiserver retrial queues; i.e., any customer finding all servers busy upon arrival must leave the service area and re-apply for ...

A Blockchain‐ and RFID‐Based System for Enhanced Traceability and Fraud Prevention in Supply Chain Management

open access: yesJournal of Engineering, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Global supply chains are increasingly vulnerable to fraud, counterfeiting, and inefficient data management, leading to significant financial losses and operational disruptions. This paper presents a conceptual framework that leverages blockchain technology, radio‐frequency identification (RFID), and decentralized storage (IPFS) to enhance traceability,

Analysis of Switching the Purchase Option in a Two‐Commodity Perishable Inventory System

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
This research examines a queueing‐inventory model that includes two perishable commodities, each having a distinct lifetime, service duration, lead time, and individual (s, Q) ordering policy. The system consists of two finite‐capacity waiting zones for two distinct types of clients, with arrivals governed by independent Poisson processes.
