Fills Cleanout With Coiled Tubing in the Reverse Circulation Mode

Proceedings of IADC/SPE Asia Pacific Drilling Technology Conference and Exhibition, 2006
Abstract Removing sand fills from wellbores is one of the major applications for coiled tubing (CT). For the fills cleanout process, the fluid could be circulated in two different modes: forward circulation and reverse circulation. In the forward circulation mode, the carrying fluids are pumped through the CT down to bottom and flowed ...

Investigation of circulant matrices for reversible LDPC codes

IEEE International Symposium on Communications and Information Technology, 2004. ISCIT 2004., 2005
We investigate the error performance of reversible LDPC codes constructed from the circulant matrix (Haley, D. et al., IEEE Global Telecom. Conf., vol.1, p.1303-7, 2002) in the region of BER smaller than 10/sup -5/. We also propose and investigate other possible circulant matrices selected from some primitive polynomials over GF(2).

Wind-induced reversal in Red Sea circulation

Deep Sea Research and Oceanographic Abstracts, 1974
Abstract The monsoon reversal in the Red Sea circulation near and above sill depth is described and related to the winds at the sea surface. During winter (October–May), the surface waters flow north, sink in the northern Red Sea, and return to the south as a warm, high-salinity subsurface current that flows out over the shallow sill into the Gulf of

Extravascular circulation of lipoproteins: their role in reverse transport of cholesterol

Atherosclerosis, 1994
The transfer of lipoproteins out of plasma into peripheral tissues, their flow through the interstitium and their return to blood has been reviewed. In this context special emphasis has been given to reports dealing with the movement of lipoproteins into and out of the wall of arteries.

Reverse Circulation With Coiled Tubing - Results of 1600+ Jobs

Proceedings of SPE/ICoTA Coiled Tubing Conference and Exhibition, 2004
Abstract Reverse circulation has always been viewed with some level of suspicion and reverse circulation with coiled tubing has often been avoided at all costs. Yet, results of over 1600 CT operations involving reverse circulating in Alaska's oil fields, with just a handful of failures, has proven reverse circulation to be a reliable ...
