An approach for automated generation of quantum computing models using deep learning

open access: yesAin Shams Engineering Journal
Quantum computing promises remarkable computational power with minimal energy consumption. However, the complexity of developing quantum circuits and codes hinders fully exploiting this potential.

An "Umbrella" Bound of the Lov\'asz-Gallager Type

open access: yes, 2013
We propose a novel approach for bounding the probability of error of discrete memoryless channels with a zero-error capacity based on a combination of Lov\'asz' and Gallager's ideas.

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Reversible Multiple Items Authentication Scheme for WSNs

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
In this article, a reversible authentication scheme for wireless sensor networks (WSNs) is proposed aimed at multiple items authentication and good imperception of transmitted data. Firstly, the WSNs data stream is divided into some authentication groups,

A simple comparative analysis of exact and approximate quantum error correction

open access: yes, 2014
We present a comparative analysis of exact and approximate quantum error correction by means of simple unabridged analytical computations. For the sake of clarity, using primitive quantum codes, we study the exact and approximate error correction of the ...

The Extended Codes of a Family of Reversible MDS Cyclic codes

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Information Theory
A linear code with parameters $[n, k, n-k+1]$ is called a maximum distance separable (MDS for short) code. A linear code with parameters $[n, k, n-k]$ is said to be almost maximum distance separable (AMDS for short). A linear code is said to be near maximum distance separable (NMDS for short) if both the code and its dual are AMDS.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Optimization of Clifford Circuits

open access: yes, 2013
We study optimal synthesis of Clifford circuits, and apply the results to peep-hole optimization of quantum circuits. We report optimal circuits for all Clifford operations with up to four inputs.

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Heterozygous loss‐of‐function alleles associate the conserved 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease EXOSC10 with hypersensitivity to the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.
