Clinical Features of Cellular Senescence Pathways in Severe Asthma

In bronchial biopsies, SASP and p53 pathway enrichment scores are elevated in severe asthma versus non‐severe asthma and healthy controls. SASP enrichment is validated in the independent NOVA cohort. SASP enrichment is also elevated in nasal brushings of participants with nasal polyps, independently of asthma status.

Determinants of Poor Health‐Related Quality of Life in Patients With Food Allergy

Machine‐learning analysis of 502 well‐characterised food‐allergic patients was used to identify key determinants of poor FA‐HRQL, defined as FAQLQ ≥ 5. The most relevant predictors were adult age, female sex, multiple food allergies, severe reactions, need for urgent care, onset before 18 years, and longer disease duration.

ABSTRACT Non‐allergic rhinitis is a frequent yet underdiagnosed cause of chronic nasal symptoms, including nasal congestion, rhinorrhoea, and upper airway hyperreactivity. Its pathophysiology involves neurogenic dysregulation, leading to excessive mucus production and vasodilation.
