Relationship among isolates of rhizoctonia solani Kuhn

Mycopathologia et Mycologia Applicata, 1974
Aversion was observed between isolates ofRhizoctonia solani on inoculation in a culture plate. This phenomenon helped to study the relationship among fifty different isolates. Thirty three of the isolates showed aversion against some isolates and non-aversion against others. Seventeen of them, however, showed aversion against all the isolates.

Degradation of fluometuron by Rhizoctonia solani

Pesticide Biochemistry and Physiology, 1978
Abstract Degradation studies of fluometuron [Cotoran, 1,1-dimethyl-3-(α,α,α-trifluoro-m-tolyl)urea] by Rhizoctonia solani have been conducted to elucidate further the pathway of degradation. Analysis by thin-layer chromatography and autoradiography demonstrated that R.

Biological control of Rhizoctonia solani by binucleate Rhizoctonia spp. and hypovirulent R. solani agents

Crop Protection, 1995
Abstract Despite research on biological control dating back to the early 1930s, reliable, economical biocontrols of diseases caused by Rhizoctonia solani are not generally available commercially. New approaches for detection and use of novel agents and development of broadly applicable biological control management systems are needed, especially ...

RHIZOCTONIA SOLANI; CONTROL MEASURES IN MICHIGAN

American Society of Sugarbeet Technologist, 2013
Rhizoctonia solani root and crown rot is a serious problem in the Michigan Sugar Company growing area. Company Agriculturists would recommend the use of a susceptible variety and no fungicide on only 1.1% of the acres. Only these few acres would be considered to have no Rhizoctonia.

Rhizoctonia solani – Ursachen und Bekämpfungsstrategie

2009

SURVIVAL OF SINGLE-BASIDIOSPORE ISOLATES OF RHIZOCTONIA PRATICOLA AND RHIZOCTONIA SOLANI

Canadian Journal of Microbiology, 1964
Twenty randomly selected single-basidiospore isolates from each of Rhizoctonia praticola and R. solani differed considerably in their tolerance to CO2, competitive saprophytic activity, and ability to survive within precolonized substrate segments incubated in soils with or without pentachloronitrobenzene (PCNB) or oat straw.
