Enzyme-Catalyzed Production and Chemical Composition of Diacylglycerols from Corn Oil Deodorizer Distillate [PDF]
Diacylglycerols (DAG) were enzymatically synthesized by lipase-catalyzed esterification of glycerol with fatty acids from corn oil deodorizer distillate (CrODD). Effects of reaction parameters such as reaction time, temperature, enzyme type, enzyme load,

Imaging of Abdominal Complications in Children With Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia
ABSTRACT Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) is the most common paediatric malignancy and remains one of the most common causes of cancer‐related death in children and adolescents. Five‐year overall survival rates now exceed 90% with current multidrug chemotherapeutic regimens. This improvement, coupled with the toxicity of chemotherapy, has led to the

Among patients referred for allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation with pulmonary opacities, lung biopsy provided a diagnosis in 72% of procedures and altered management in 51%. Despite a 7% major complication rate, lung biopsy frequently clarified noninfectious etiologies when bronchoscopy was inconclusive.

Medium‐chain diacylglycerols were incorporated into fully hydrogenated palm kernel oil stearin (FHPKS) to regulate crystallization behavior and melt–dispersion performance. Low DAG levels (5%–10%) promoted β′‐rich crystal networks and improved thermal responsiveness, establishing a structure–property framework for designing functional lipid bases ...

This study optimized solvent‐free geranyl benzoate production using Lipozyme 435, achieving 72% conversion in 6 hours. Open reactors improved yields (>99% in 48 hours) by removing inhibitorymethanol. Methyl benzoate reduced enzyme activity by 54%, though Lipura Flex showed better resistance. Human cell tests confirmed no cytotoxicity.
