Gas Exchange in Rhizopus Oryzae
Journal of Infectious Diseases, 1960The increased incidence of mucormycosis in recent years was described by Baker (1957), and Hutter reviewed the literature since 1815 and presented four new cases of his own (1959). Such reports serve to focus attention on a group of micro-organisms which had earlier been assumed to be harmless saprophytes with no etiologic significance.
