G3BP1 Succinylation at K413 is Critical for Cardiac Function by Modulating PI3K‐AKT‐mTOR Signal Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Schematic illustrating the impact of G3BP1 succinylation at K413 on cardiac function. In the healthy human heart, G3BP1 succinylation maintains homeostatic mTOR signaling. In patients with dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) and heart failure (HF), G3BP1 de‐succinylation induces RagA expression and disrupts the binding of the TSC1/2 complex, leading to the ...

A Rare Full-Term Newborn Case of Rib Osteomyelitis with Suspected Preceding Fracture

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Perinatology Reports, 2016
Acute osteomyelitis is uncommon in full-term neonates and occurs most frequently in those with critical illnesses, often following episodes of sepsis, skin infection, umbilical catheterization, urinary tract anomalies, or a complicated delivery. Here, we

Bioorthogonal Fluorogenic Reporters for Noninvasive Imaging and Urinalysis of Immunotherapeutic Response in Renal Cell Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reported renal‐clearable bio‐orthogonal near‐infrared fluorogenic probes (BGRs) that specifically imaging and urinalysis of granzyme B for dynamic evaluation of RCC immunotherapy. BGRs not only differentiate immunotherapeutic responses in orthotopic RCC mice, but also enable sensitive optical urinalysis of granzyme B in clinical specimens ...

Solitary plasmacytoma of the rib: A rare case

open access: yesLung India, 2011
Localized solitary plasmacytoma of the bone is a rare disease and is characterized by only one or two isolated bone lesions with no evidence of disease dissemination. We report a case of solitary plasmacytoma of the rib in a 43-year-old female.

Mass‐Transport–Engineered CCM Architecture Employing MPL‐Free Carbon Paper and Graphene‐Coated Ni Foam Channels for High‐Temperature PEM Fuel Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A CCM‐based architectural strategy is introduced for high‐temperature PEM fuel cells, enabling MPL‐free carbon paper gas diffusion layers via decal‐transfer processing. By co‐engineering the CCM, GDL, and a G‐foam flow field, oxygen transport is enhanced while phosphoric‐acid leakage is suppressed, resulting in high power density and stable operation ...

Cytological diagnosis of chondrosarcoma: A case report with review of literature

open access: yesJournal of the Scientific Society, 2015
Chondrosarcoma is a malignant tumor of bone showing cartilaginous differentiation. Fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) is found to be effective in the preoperative diagnosis of chondrosarcoma combined with radiological and clinical evaluation. Ribs is

Wireless, Adaptable and Fully Implantable Battery‐powered Devices for Optical Stimulation of the Spinal Cord in Small Rodents

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Current technologies for spinal cord optogenetic stimulation rely on external power sources and face reliability constraints in freely behaving animals. Here, a fully implantable, battery‐powered optoelectronic device is introduced, enabling operation in any selected environment with wireless recharging for months‐long stimulation.

SERRATE Regulates Floral Meristem Activity by Antagonizing SHOOT MERISTEMLESS and Repressing Cytokinin Signaling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Floral meristem (FM) activity is crucial for the initiation of floral organs. In this study, SE represses IPT7 expression and cytokinin signaling via both the miR171c‐5p–KNAT2 and miR164c–CUC1/2–KNAT2 regulatory modules, thereby repressing FM activity. In contrast, STM induces both KNAT2 and IPT7 expression.
