Nonlinear Suboptimal Tracking Controller Design Using State-Dependent Riccati Equation Technique

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology, 2017
In this brief, a new technique for solving a suboptimal tracking problem for a class of nonlinear dynamical systems is presented. Toward this end, an optimal tracking problem using a discounted cost function is defined and a control law with a feedback-feedforward structure is designed.

Riccati Techniques and Variational Principles in Oscillation Theory for Linear Systems [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions of the American Mathematical Society, 1987
We consider the seond order differential system ( 1 ) Y + Q ( t ) Y = 0 (1)\,Y + Q(t)Y = 0 , where Q Q , Y Y are n × n n \times n matrices with Q =

Riccati techniques and discrete oscillations

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 1989
The paper deals with the oscillatory and nonoscillatory properties of the self-adjoint second-order difference equation \(\Delta (r_ n\Delta x_ n)+p_ nx_{n+1}=0,\) \(n\geq 0\) where \(\Delta\) is the forward difference operator \(\Delta x_ n=x_{n+1}-x_ n,\) and \(r_ n,p_ n\) are sequences of real numbers with \(r_ n>0,\) \(n=0,1,2\).

Approximate Analytical Solution for Quadratic Riccati Differential Equation [PDF]

open access: yesIranian Journal of Numerical Analysis and Optimization, 2013
In this paper, we introduce an efficient method for solving the quadratic Riccati differential equation. In this technique, combination of Laplace transform and new homotopy perturbation methods (LTNHPM) are considered as an algorithm to the exact ...

Hermitian Solutions of the Quaternion Algebraic Riccati Equations through Zeroing Neural Networks with Application to Quadrotor Control

open access: yesMathematics, 2023
The stability of nonlinear systems in the control domain has been extensively studied using different versions of the algebraic Riccati equation (ARE). This leads to the focus of this work: the search for the time-varying quaternion ARE (TQARE) Hermitian

Oscillation and non-oscillation of half-linear differential equations with coeffcients determined by functions having mean values

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2018
The paper belongs to the qualitative theory of half-linear equations which are located between linear and non-linear equations and, at the same time, between ordinary and partial differential equations.

Wintner-type nonoscillation theorems for conformable linear Sturm-Liouville differential equations [PDF]

open access: yesOpuscula Mathematica
In this study, we addressed the nonoscillation of th Sturm-Liouville differential equation with a differential operator, which corresponds to a proportional-derivative controller. The equation is a conformable linear differential equation. A Wintner-type

Modified Infinite-Time State-Dependent Riccati Equation Method for Nonlinear Affine Systems: Quadrotor Control

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2021
This paper presents modeling and infinite-time suboptimal control of a quadcopter device using the state-dependent Riccati equation (SDRE) method. It establishes a solution to the control problem using SDRE and proposes a new procedure for solving the ...

A New Method for Riccati Differential Equations Based on Reproducing Kernel and Quasilinearization Methods

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2012
We introduce a new method for solving Riccati differential equations, which is based on reproducing kernel method and quasilinearization technique. The quasilinearization technique is used to reduce the Riccati differential equation to a sequence of ...
