Proteomic and Transcriptomic Signatures of Poor Asthma Symptom Control in the U‐BIOPRED Cohort
No stable features were identified as associated with asthma symptom control in transcriptomics or sputum proteomics. Higher TWEAKR/TNFRSF12A and MBL/MBP‐C serum levels increased the odds of uncontrolled symptoms, while higher MK08/MAPK8 and CD5L serum levels decreased the odds, after adjustment for clinical variables.

N=2 S-duality via Outer-automorphism Twists
Compactification of 6d N=(2,0) theory of type G on a punctured Riemann surface has been effectively used to understand S-dualities of 4d N=2 theories.

Topological Classification of Conformal Actions on pq-Hyperelliptic Riemann Surfaces
A compact Riemann surface X of genus g>1 is said to be p-hyperelliptic if X admits a conformal involution ρ, for which X/ρ is an orbifold of genus p. If in addition X is q-hyperelliptic, then we say that X is pq-hyperelliptic.

We reconsider the relation of superconformal indices of superconformal field theories of class S with five-dimensional N=2 supersymmetric Yang–Mills theory compactified on the product space of a round three-sphere and a Riemann surface.

Optimal Selling Mechanisms With Endogenous Seller Outside Offers
ABSTRACT We examine a two‐stage selling mechanism design problem, where the buyer makes her report and the seller endogenously decides his effort (hidden investment) to generate a possibly better outside offer. The optimal mechanism shows that the seller's effort depends on the reported value of the buyer; a higher value lowers the seller's incentive ...

AdS 6 T-duals and type IIB AdS 6 × S 2 geometries with 7-branes
We show that the first AdS 6 backgrounds in Type IIB supergravity known in the literature, namely those constructed via T-duality from the Brandhuber-Oz solution to massive IIA, fit within an extension of the global AdS 6 × S 2 solutions with 7-branes ...

Sleep in Functional Motor Disorders: A Case–Control Polysomnographic Study
ABSTRACT Sleep problems are frequent in functional motor disorders (FMDs). Surprisingly, objective correlates of impaired sleep and its relationship to other comorbidities have been understudied, and no polysomnographic study is available. We aimed to map the polysomnographic parameters in the context of self‐reported sleep and mood symptoms and search

Criterion for connections on principal bundles over a pointed Riemann surface
We investigate connections, and more generally logarithmic connections, on holomorphic principal bundles over a compact connected Riemann surface.

Can Flash Flood Risk Index Be an Early Warning Signal of Flash Floods in Ungauged Basin?
ABSTRACT Flash flooding is amongst the most severe natural hazards, causing widespread socioeconomic impacts across both wet regions and drylands. In ungauged mountainous basins, effective risk warning based on hydrodynamic modelling is challenging due to sparse hydrological observations and complex terrain.

Matrix models as conformal field theories: genus expansion
We obtain the topological expansion of the hermitian matrix model using its representation as a CFT on a hyperelliptic Riemann surface. To each branch point of the Riemann surface we associate an operator which represents a twist field dressed by the ...
