SPIN OSCILLATIONS IN STORAGE RINGS [PDF]

open access: yesSpin 2004, 2005
The dependence of the particle rotation frequency on the particle orbit perturbations is found. The exact equation of spin motion in the cylindrical coordinate system is derived. The calculated formula for the frequency of g-2 precession is in the best agreement with previous results.

Design of low voltage ring oscillator

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2007
A new ring oscillator was proposed. To reduce the threshold voltage of PMOS transistor,a two stage ring oscillator was designed by forward biasing the bulk of the PMOS transistor.Simulation results show that the new ring oscillator can work at the very ...

Low-Voltage High-Speed Ring Oscillator With a-InGaZnO TFTs

open access: yesIEEE Journal of the Electron Devices Society, 2020
This paper presents a high-speed ring oscillator (RO) with amorphous Indium-Gallium-Zinc-Oxide Thin-film transistors (a-IGZO TFTs). The proposed RO reduces the delay of a single stage inverter using intermediate signals generated within the RO, hence ...

FPGA Implementation of a Cryptographically-Secure PUF Based on Learning Parity with Noise

open access: yesCryptography, 2017
Herder et al. (IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing, 2017) designed a new computational fuzzy extractor and physical unclonable function (PUF) challenge-response protocol based on the Learning Parity with Noise (LPN) problem. The protocol

Alternate oscillations in semiconductor ring lasers [PDF]

open access: yesOptics Letters, 2002
We report on fabrication and characterization of single-longitudinal- and transverse-mode semiconductor ring lasers. A bifurcation from bidirectional stable operation to a regime with alternate oscillations of the counterpropagating modes was observed experimentally and is theoretically explained through a two-mode model. Analytical expressions for the

Coating Artificial Spider Silk Fiber with Magnetic FeCo: An Effective Strategy for Creating a Flexible Magneto‐Responsive Material

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An original method is presented for producing artificial spider silk fibers with magnetic and magnetomechanical responsiveness, which consists in coating them with a nanometer‐thick layer of FeCo alloy by sputtering deposition. The challenge of combining organic materials and inorganic magnetic nanostructures is addressed, thus taking a step forward ...

High‐Index, Low‐Loss Optical Material Platforms for Ultra‐Broadband Ultraviolet‐to‐Visible Achromatic Metalenses

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An integrated material platform combining engineered SiNx thin films and printable ZrO2 nanoparticle‐embedded resin enables broadband achromatic metalenses from the ultraviolet to visible range. The demonstrated meta‐optics achieve near‐diffraction‐limited focusing with minimal chromatic aberration.

Exciton Binding Energy of Phosphorescent Emitter Molecules in Organic Light‐Emitting Diodes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Energy level alignment is key to efficient OLED design, yet determining LUMO energies remains challenging. A methodology based on field‐induced dissociation and kinetic Monte Carlo simulations is presented to extract LUMO energies of iridium‐based phosphorescent emitters from their exciton binding energy.
