Multi-phonon relaxation and generation of quantum states in a nonlinear mechanical oscillator [PDF]
The dissipative quantum dynamics of an anharmonic oscillator is investigated theoretically in the context of carbon-based nano-mechanical systems. In the short-time limit, it is known that macroscopic superposition states appear for such oscillators.

Low-Voltage High-Speed Ring Oscillator With a-InGaZnO TFTs
This paper presents a high-speed ring oscillator (RO) with amorphous Indium-Gallium-Zinc-Oxide Thin-film transistors (a-IGZO TFTs). The proposed RO reduces the delay of a single stage inverter using intermediate signals generated within the RO, hence ...

Enhancing synchronization in chaotic oscillators by induced heterogeneity
We report enhancing of complete synchronization in identical chaotic oscillators when their interaction is mediated by a mismatched oscillator. The identical oscillators now interact indirectly through the intermediate relay oscillator.

A programmable-load CMOS ring oscillator/inverter chain for propagation-delay measurements [PDF]
A description is given of a test structure consisting of a combination of a ring oscillator and an inverter chain. The circuit can be used to carry out propagation delay measurements on two circuit types and under a number of load conditions.

Polynomial Solution of Non-Central Potentials [PDF]
We show that the exact energy eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of the Schrodinger equation for charged particles moving in certain class of non-central potentials can be easily calculated analytically in a simple and elegant manner by using Nikiforov and ...

FPGA Implementation of a Cryptographically-Secure PUF Based on Learning Parity with Noise
Herder et al. (IEEE Transactions on Dependable and Secure Computing, 2017) designed a new computational fuzzy extractor and physical unclonable function (PUF) challenge-response protocol based on the Learning Parity with Noise (LPN) problem. The protocol

Jitter decomposition in ring oscillators [PDF]
It is important to separate random jitter from deterministic jitter to quantify their contributions to the total jitter. This paper identifies the limitations of the existing methodologies for jitter decomposition, and develops a new and efficient approach using time lag correlation functions to decompose different jitter components.
