An Automatic Active Optimization (AAO) strategy integrates machine learning predictors and genetic algorithms in a closed‐loop workflow. By iteratively expanding its dataset with new discoveries, AAO overcomes the limits of conventional methods. This approach finds superior microstructural designs beyond the initial sample space. Microwave Oscillator Design for a SRR Based Biosensor Platform
A sensor for biomedical markers based on a split ring microwave resonator (SRR) was developed. The surface of the microwave resonator is covered with receptors that specifically bind to the target proteins where the local permittivity is changed.

Light Switchable Ionic Conductivity of Arylazopyrazole Modified Polysiloxanes
We present a polysiloxane functionalized with a novel arylazopyrazole dye that undergoes reversible photoisomerization. Upon lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide addition and UV irradiation, the polymer exhibits a shift in tan(d) toward higher frequencies and enhanced ionic conductivity.

A compact incubation platform enables long‐term cultivation of biological samples directly on diamond quantum sensors for NV widefield magnetometry.
