Dynamic decellularized hydrogels are prepared using bovine decellularized small intestine submucosa (SIS) norbornene (dSIS‐NB). Bovine dSIS contained significant amounts of disulfide‐rich fibrillin‐I, enabling ‘self‐clickable’ thiol‐norbornene gelation and spatiotemporal tuning of hydrogel physicochemical properties.

Hierarchical PP–LSR107–BaTiO3 nanocomposite films are fabricated by one‐step extrusion and stretching for roll‐to‐roll manufacture, combining high energy storage and processing flexibility. LSR107 surrounds BaTiO3‐rich regions, locating amorphous PP, decreasing defects, and introducing deep traps that homogenize the electric field and suppress charge ...

Constructing Seamless Interfaces for Ultrastable Flexible Supercapacitors
Seamless electrode/electrolyte and electrolyte/electrolyte interfaces with boosted interfacial toughness and adhesion are constructed by anchored interfacial polymerization and in situ polymerization, respectively. The achieved supercapacitor exhibits ultrahigh capacitance retention over 100,000 times of charge/discharge or folding deformation ...

Rip Current Characteristics at the Dutch Coast: Egmond aan Zee
Rip currents are narrow, seaward directed flows in the surf zone that can pose a serious threat to swimmers. This issue has received attention particularly on swell dominated coasts (such as the US, Australia, France and UK) where numerous field ...

Rip currents: A laboratory study of a rip current in the presence of a submerged reef
Detailed laboratory measurements of the wave and current field induced by bi-chromatic waves incident on an artificial surfing reef are presented. Strong wave focussing occurs on the surfing reef.

Designed and demonstrated a flexible metamaterial absorber via loss engineering for large‐area ultra‐broadband infrared extinction, providing a new method for miniaturization of absorbers and flexible optical devices. ABSTRACT The advancement of compact and wearable optical systems is critically limited by the lack of high‐performance, integrable ...

Quasi-three-dimensional modeling of rip current systems
The focus of the paper is the analysis of the flow in rip current systems generated by channels in longshore bars on a beach. The horizontal variations of rip current systems are described through the use of the quasi-three-dimensional nearshore ...
