PBLD Orchestrates the STING‐Mediated Antiviral Immune Response and Autoimmune Diseases

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
During viral infection, PBLD expression is downregulated, thereby subverting host antiviral defenses and promoting viral replication. This study identifies PBLD as a positive regulator of STING‐induced type I interferon activation and delineated the molecular network underlying PBLD‐mediated antiviral immunity and autoimmune pathogenesis, highlighting ...

SUPER: Upcycling Genetic Parts for Precise Gene Expression Control, Leakage Minimization, and Genetic Circuit Stability

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
To precisely modulate natural and synthetic regulatory parts, SUPER is introduced as a sophisticated and tunable controller of genetic devices without requiring sequence modification on the target. SUPER enhances dynamic range of RNA‐, chemical‐, temperature‐, and protein‐responsive biosensors up to 1011%, and converts biosensors to cover an expanded ...

Under‐Urine‐Adhered Supramolecular Hydrogel with Linearly Sustained Quercetin Release Facilitates Hemorrhagic Cystitis Healing via Inflammation Regulation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A supramolecular gelatin‐based hydrogel adhesive was engineered for hemorrhagic cystitis management. It provides robust wet‐tissue adhesion, rapid hemostasis, sustained quercetin release, effectively restoring the bladder barrier via anti‐inflammatory and antioxidant actions.

Analysis of trophic responses in lesioned brain: focus on basic fibroblast growth factor mechanisms

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Medical and Biological Research, 1998
The actions of fibroblast growth factors (FGFs), particularly the basic form (bFGF), have been described in a large number of cells and include mitogenicity, angiogenicity and wound repair.

Cancer Manipulates Adjacent Adipose Tissue to Exploit Fatty Acids via HIF‐1α/CCL2/PPARα Axis: A Metabolic Circuit to Support Tumor Progression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Cancer cells drive adjacent adipose tissue to release fatty acids by secreting CCL2, which activates PPARα‐dependent lipolysis. The resulting fatty acid influx amplifies HIF‐1α/CCL2 signaling, establishing a positive feedback loop that fuels tumor growth.

Soft‐Drug‐Inspired MnSTF Nano‐Adjuvant for Safe and Synergistic cGAS–STING Activation in Tumor Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study introduces MnSTF, a soft‐drug‐inspired nanoadjuvant that overcomes the systemic toxicity of STING agonists. Through Mn2+ coordination with an ENPP1 inhibitor, it enables safe cGAS‐STING activation, remodels the tumor immune microenvironment, and synergizes with radiotherapy or vaccines to elicit robust antitumor immunity.

DNMT2‐m5C‐ACLY Axis Promotes Lenvatinib Resistance in Hepatocellular Carcinoma Through Histone Acetylation‐Mediated Notch Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Lenvatinib resistance poses a major challenge in advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). This study reveals that DNMT2 upregulation is a key driver, which stabilizes ACLY mRNA via m5C modification and activates the Notch signaling pathway. Crucially, combining ACLY inhibitors with lenvatinib overcomes resistance and suppresses tumors, offering a ...
