RNA modification is crucial in fibrosis diseases, but the role of m1A modification remains elusive. This study reveals that ALKBH3, an m1A demethylase, drives skin fibrosis by reshaping m6A RNA modification and stabilizing COL1A1 and FN1 mRNAs through METTL3, uncovering a crosstalk between m1A and m6A methylation in pathological events.

The impact of topography on the secretome of adipose‐derived stem cells (ADSCs) has the potential for promoting tendon regeneration. The secretome generated from ADSCs on aligned structure has a potent effect in promoting cell migration, proliferation, tenogenic differentiation, macrophage M2 polarization, and tendon mechanical function recovery ...

LGR6 overexpression ameliorates cardiac hypertrophy by regulating metabolic reprogramming through USP4‐PPARα pathway. Abstract Metabolic reprogramming is a pivotal mechanism in the pathogenesis of pathological cardiac hypertrophy. Leucine‐rich repeat‐containing G protein‐coupled receptor 6 (Lgr6) has emerged as a significant player in cardiovascular ...

Macrophage phenotypes are influenced by the microenvironment. Matrix stiffness, a key ECM factor, polarizes macrophage toward a pro‐regenerative phenotype in a 3D physiological environment. CaMKK2 selectively regulates stiffness‐induced macrophage polarization, impacting tumor growth and wound healing.

The gut microbiome is a potential target for treating cardiovascular disease. It is found that prophylactic administration of Flavonifractor plautii or its metabolite desaminotyrosine (DAT) exerts pleiotropic cardioprotective effects via promoting cardiomyocyte survival and attenuating cardiac inflammation against myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (I/R ...

Abstract Nucleic acids are the blueprint of life. They are not only the construction plan of the single cell or higher associations of them, but also necessary for function, communication and regulation. Due to the pandemic, the attention shifted in particular to their therapeutic potential as a vaccine. As pharmaceutical oligonucleotides are unique in

This study develops lipid nanoparticle‐encapsulated mRNA‐encoding antibodies (mRNab‐LNPs) targeting CD19, demonstrating robust anti‐CD19 antibody production in vivo. Intramuscular injection of mRNab‐LNPs reduces CD19+ B and plasma cells in lupus and rheumatoid arthritis mice, significantly alleviating histopathological changes and tissue injuries of ...

In the TME of NPC, C1q secreted by C1q+ TAMs interacted with GPR17 to activate PI3K/AKT signaling through strengthening GPR17 coupling PI3K and increasing calcium levels in tumor cells. The activated PI3K/AKT signaling further induces DNA hypermethylation to promote the malignancy and stemness of tumor cells.

Abstract The International League Against Epilepsy/American Epilepsy Society (ILAE/AES) Joint Translational Task Force established the TASK3 working groups to create common data elements (CDEs) for various preclinical epilepsy research disciplines. The aim of the CDEs is to improve the standardization of experimental designs across a range of epilepsy ...
