Our experimental evidence supports a model in which ALO targets the HSPA8‐CMA‐ATP6V1A axis to induce lysosomal hyperacidification and initiate osmotic and lipidomic stress. These changes are associated with LMP and loss of lysosomal integrity in prostate cancer cells.

Adipocyte Myoglobin Is a Determinant of Energy Expenditure and a Potential Target to Limit Obesity
Myoglobin, known as a muscle oxygen‐carrying protein, is shown to play a key role in fat cells that burn energy. Loss of myoglobin reduces the body's ability to generate heat and increases obesity risk, while restoring it improves metabolism. The study identifies myoglobin as a regulator of fat burning and a potential target to enhance energy ...

Cold-inducible RNA binding protein (CIRP) expression is modulated by alternative mRNAs
Cold-inducible RNA binding protein (CIRP) is a mammalian protein whose expression is up-regulated in response to mild hypothermia. Although the exact function of this protein is currently unknown, it is thought to function as an RNA chaperone ...

Understanding RNA Chaperone Activity of ProQ Protein
Abstract RNA-binding proteins (RBPs) are crucial in recognizing and binding small RNAs that modulate gene expression. RBPs often act as RNA chaperones, facilitating the sRNA-mRNA duplex formation. One of the most studied sRNA chaperones is Hfq, the post-transcriptional gene regulator in bacteria.

This study integrates random matrix theory (RMT) and principal component analysis (PCA) to improve the identification of correlated regions in HIV protein sequences for vaccine design. PCA validation enhances the reliability of RMT‐derived correlations, particularly in small‐sample, high‐dimensional datasets, enabling more accurate detection of ...
