Field samples from breeder duck farms with egg‐production decline were subjected to viral detection, genome sequencing, and virus isolation. Experimental infection demonstrated that duck orbivirus (DORV) causes a significant and persistent reduction in egg production in breeder ducks.

RNA Helicase Mediates Competitive Fitness of Listeria monocytogenes on the Surface of Cantaloupe
Listeria monocytogenes is a foodborne pathogen that is implicated in numerous outbreaks of disease (listeriosis) via fresh produce. The genetic features of L. monocytogenes that allow adherence and growth on produce remain largely uncharacterized.

Snf2 family ATPases and DExx box helicases:differences and unifying concepts from high-resolution crystal structures [PDF]
Proteins with sequence similarity to the yeast Snf2 protein form a large family of ATPases that act to alter the structure of a diverse range of DNA-protein structures including chromatin. Snf2 family enzymes are related in sequence to DExx box helicases,

Brr2 RNA helicase and its protein and RNA interactions [PDF]
The dynamic rearrangements of RNA and protein complexes and the fidelity of pre-mRNA splicing are governed by DExD/H-box ATPases. One of the spliceosomal ATPases, Brr2, is believed to facilitate conformational rearrangements during spliceosome ...

Background Microbial small RNAs (sRNAs) can regulate human genes. Higher plasma concentrations of microbial tRNA‐derived RNA‐1 (tDR‐1) were previously associated with lower rheumatoid arthritis (RA) disease activity. This study examined whether tDR‐1 concentrations differ in anti‐cyclic citrullinated peptide‐3 positive (CCP3+) at‐risk individuals (ARI)
