Liver stiffness promotes intrahepatic cholesterol accumulation by repressing LXRα through YAP/TAZ activation. Stiff matrices impair cholesterol efflux in hepatocytes, while YAP/TAZ deletion restores LXRα activity and prevents cholesterol‐induced fibrosis.

Cauliflower mosaic virus protein P6 is a suppressor of RNA silencing
We infected a transgenic Arabidopsis line (GxA), containing an amplicon-silenced 35S : : GFP transgene, with cauliflower mosaic virus (CaMV), a plant pararetrovirus with a DNA genome. Systemically infected leaves showed strong GFP fluorescence and amplicon transcripts were detectable in Northern blots, indicating that silencing of GFP had been ...

Manipulation of plant host susceptibility: an emerging role for viral movement proteins?
Viruses encode Viral Suppressors of RNA silencing (VSRs) to counteract RNA silencing, a major antiviral defense response in plants. Recent studies indicate a role of virus-derived siRNAs in manipulating the expression of specific host genes and that ...

Metabolic Pathways Enhancement Confers Poor Prognosis in p53 Exon Mutant Hepatocellular Carcinoma. [PDF]
RNA-Sequencing (RNA-Seq), the most commonly used sequencing application tool, is not only a method for measuring gene expression but also an excellent media to detect important structural variants such as single nucleotide variants (SNVs), insertion ...

Chronic Hypoxia Disrupts Spermatogenesis Through ASXL2–EZH2–Mediated Microtubule Destabilization
This study reveals the mechanism by which chronic hypoxia impairs spermatogenesis via the ASXL2–EZH2 axis, hindering the transition of spermatids from round to elongated forms. Key findings reveal that under hypoxic conditions, downregulated ASXL2 expression reduces EZH2 binding to the CEP162 promoter, leading to decreased H3K27me3 modification and ...

Aldosterone‐producing adenomas (APAs) develop via two distinct paths: directly from adrenal zona glomerulosa (zG) cells, or stepwise from zG cells through aldosterone‐producing micronodules (APMs) before progressing to APAs. Advanced single‐cell and spatial analyses identified distinct cell states linked to oxidative stress and cell–cell interactions ...

Evaluation of the RNA Silencing Suppression Activity of Three Cherry Virus F-Encoded Proteins
Cherry virus F (CVF) is a newly emerged sweet cherry virus. CVF has been identified in a small number of countries and it has not been associated with discrete symptomatology.
