Collaborative Duality of CircGLIS3(2) RNA and Protein in human Wound Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CircGLIS3(2), a circRNA transiently upregulated in dermal fibroblasts during acute wound healing, is induced by IL‐1α and TGF‐β. Its RNA activates fibroblasts into matrix‐secreting cells, while its encoded protein enhances proliferation. The RNA stabilizes PCOLCE, and the protein interacts with BTF3, collectively accelerating wound repair. Abstract The

Recent Advances in mRNA Delivery Systems for Cancer Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review systematically investigates the applications of mRNA therapy in cancer treatment, with particular emphasis on nonviral delivery systems, targeting strategies, stimulus‐responsive systems, and local delivery methods. Concluding with a meticulous evaluation, the review sheds light on the prevailing challenges while illuminating promising ...

LncRNA‐MEG3 Regulates Muscle Mass and Metabolic Homeostasis by Facilitating SUZ12 Liquid–Liquid Phase Separation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study has identified lncRNA‐MEG3 as a key regulator of muscle mass, promoting slow‐twitch muscle fibers and preventing muscle atrophy. By stabilizing the SUZ12/PRC2 complex through liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS), lncRNA‐MEG3 influences mitochondrial function and lipid metabolism.

Bounds on treewidth via excluding disjoint unions of cycles [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
One of the fundamental results in graph minor theory is that for every planar graph~$H$, there is a minimum integer~$f(H)$ such that graphs with no minor isomorphic to~$H$ have treewidth at most~$f(H)$. The best known bound for an arbitrary planar $H$ is ${O(|V(H)|^9\operatorname{poly~log} |V(H)|)}$. We show that if $H$ is the disjoint union of cycles,

Fish Swim Bladder‐Derived ECM Hydrogels Effectively Treat Myocardial Ischemic Injury through Immunomodulation and Angiogenesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A unique hydrogel based on extracellular matrix from fish swim bladder, which is suitable for transcatheter delivery and possesses remarkable reparative capabilities for treating heart failure, is developed. It emerges as a multi‐effect factor profoundly influencing inflammation regulation, angiogenesis, and myocardial metabolism.

RNase Y mediates posttranscriptional control of the virulence-associated CncR1 small-RNA in Helicobacter pylori

open access: yesiScience
Summary: Ribonucleases are involved in several biological processes, including the turnover of structural and messenger RNAs and the specific processing of the cellular transcriptome. Here, we characterized the RNase Y from Helicobacter pylori.
