Disorder‐Broadened Topological Hall Phase and Anomalous Hall Scaling in FeGe
By systematically introducing defects into FeGe via ion‐beam modification, we demonstrate that disorder broadens the temperature regime over which the topological Hall effect ‐ a signature of skyrmions or other chiral textures — appears, while also increasing its magnitude.

Identification of friction coefficient between uncoated carbide tool and Ti-6Al-4V alloy under different lubrication conditions [PDF]
During machining, the friction between the tool and the workpiece (cutting face and flank face) is a significant tribological phenomenon because it strongly influences the cutting operation. Indeed, higher friction leads to an increase of cutting forces,

Sub‐Nanometer Curvature Unlocks Quantum Orbital Flexoelectricity in Graphene
In self‐assembled, reproducible, large‐area, quasi‐pristine graphene nanowrinkles, extreme curvature forces out‐of‐plane π‐electrons toward hybridization, driving a transition from classical to quantum orbital flexoelectricity. As curvature approaches the fundamental physical limit set by the C─C bond length, the resulting polarization increases by ...

A New Method for Estimating Road Friction Coefficient
Road friction coefficient is a critical component in traffic safety. The estimation of tire–road friction coefficient at tires allows the control algorithm in vehicle activity system to adapt to external driving conditions. This paper develops a new tire–
