Permanent magnets derive their extraordinary strength from deep, universal electronic‐structure principles that control magnetization, anisotropy, and intrinsic performance. This work uncovers those governing rules, examines modern modeling and AI‐driven discovery methods, identifies critical bottlenecks, and reveals electronic fingerprints shared ...

Automated Experimental Platform and Mechanics Testing of Rock Breaking using Different Lasers
Addressing the challenge of breaking rocks deep within the earth requires innovative solutions, and the pulsed laser technology has emerged as a promising noncontact alternative for rock breaking. We developed an automated experimental platform with robotic arms and a rock mechanics testing device to quantitatively study the impact of laser technology ...

Rock Breaking Mechanism and Experimental Research on Axial Tilt PDC Bit Tool
PDC bit has poor adaptability in soft and hard staggered, gravel-bearing and other heterogeneous layers and hard formations. The problem of easy pre-damage of the cutting teeth of the bit has not been solved yet. A shaft-tilted PDC bit tool is proposed. The most obvious feature of the tool is that the bit body is designed as an "axial-tilted" structure,

Lessons from LIMK1 enzymology and their impact on inhibitor design [PDF]
LIM domain kinase 1 (LIMK1) is a key regulator of actin dynamics. It is thereby a potential therapeutic target for the prevention of fragile X syndrome and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

In this report, we demonstrate that a crystalline phase of 52nm thick NiFe2O4 can be grown by RF sputtering on top of γ‐Al2O3(8nm)/SrTiO3 at a significantly low temperature (150 °C) without compromising the mobility and carrier density of the 2D electron gas at the γ‐Al2O3(8nm)/SrTiO3 interface.

Interference fracturing: Nonuniform distributions of perforation clusters that promote simultaneous growth of multiple hydraulic fractures [PDF]
One of the important hurdles in horizontal-well stimulation is the generation of hydraulic fractures (HFs) from all perforation clusters within a given stage, despite the challenges posed by stress shadowing and reservoir variability.

Drug‐Free Thrombolysis Mediated by Physically Activated Micro/Nanoparticles
Overview of particle‐mediated thrombolytic effects (thermal, mechanical, and chemical) and their activating physical stimuli (light, ultrasound, and magnetic field) in drug‐free thrombolysis. ABSTRACT Thrombus‐associated disorders rank among the world's leading causes of death, with ischemic heart disease and stroke as the main contributors.
