Automated Experimental Platform and Mechanics Testing of Rock Breaking using Different Lasers
Addressing the challenge of breaking rocks deep within the earth requires innovative solutions, and the pulsed laser technology has emerged as a promising noncontact alternative for rock breaking. We developed an automated experimental platform with robotic arms and a rock mechanics testing device to quantitatively study the impact of laser technology ...

Rock Breaking Mechanism and Experimental Research on Axial Tilt PDC Bit Tool
PDC bit has poor adaptability in soft and hard staggered, gravel-bearing and other heterogeneous layers and hard formations. The problem of easy pre-damage of the cutting teeth of the bit has not been solved yet. A shaft-tilted PDC bit tool is proposed. The most obvious feature of the tool is that the bit body is designed as an "axial-tilted" structure,

In Situ Characterisation of Hydrogels via Dynamic Interface Printing
ABSTRACT Hydrogels have become pivotal materials for tissue engineering, robotics, biomedical devices, and sensing applications due to their diverse material compositions and tunable mechanical properties. While significant effort has focused on developing novel manufacturing approaches such as extrusion bioprinting and light‐based fabrication methods,

Surface and bulk properties of ballistic deposition models with bond breaking
We introduce a new class of growth models, with a surface restructuring mechanism in which impinging particles may dislodge suspended particles, previously aggregated on the same column in the deposit.

GPCRs in CAR‐T Cell Immunotherapy: Expanding the Target Landscape and Enhancing Therapeutic Efficacy
Chimeric antigen receptor T cell therapy faces dual challenges of target scarcity and an immunosuppressive microenvironment in solid tumors. This review highlights how G protein‐coupled receptors can serve as both novel targets to expand the therapeutic scope and functional modules to enhance CAR‐T cell efficacy.
