Automated Experimental Platform and Mechanics Testing of Rock Breaking using Different Lasers
Addressing the challenge of breaking rocks deep within the earth requires innovative solutions, and the pulsed laser technology has emerged as a promising noncontact alternative for rock breaking. We developed an automated experimental platform with robotic arms and a rock mechanics testing device to quantitatively study the impact of laser technology ...

Hierarchical PP–LSR107–BaTiO3 nanocomposite films are fabricated by one‐step extrusion and stretching for roll‐to‐roll manufacture, combining high energy storage and processing flexibility. LSR107 surrounds BaTiO3‐rich regions, locating amorphous PP, decreasing defects, and introducing deep traps that homogenize the electric field and suppress charge ...

Impedance‐Matched High‐Overtone Thickness‐Shear Bulk Acoustic Resonators With Scalable Mode Volume
A bottom‐electrode‐free high‐overtone bulk acoustic resonator is achieved by lateral excitation of antisymmetric thickness‐shear modes on a lithium‐niobate‐on‐silicon platform. Planar electrode geometry eliminates conventional loading along the resonance path and confines acoustic energy within the electrode gap.

Fluctuation persistent current in small superconducting rings
We extend previous theoretical studies of the contribution of fluctuating Cooper pairs to the persistent current in superconducting rings subjected to a magnetic field. For sufficiently small rings, in which the coherence length $\xi$ exceeds the radius $
