Propagation characteristics of vibrations due to rock blasting in silt-rock strata
The geological effects of rock blasting in silt-rock strata are complex, and the vibrations caused by the blasting threaten the safety of inhabitable areas. Based on measured data for the vibrations at the site and dynamic finite element simulations, the propagation characteristics of vibrations in silt-rock strata were studied.

Ultrasonic rock sampling using longitudinal–torsional vibrations
In the last years several European and US space projects have been focused on the development of surface rovers for planetary missions, such as ExoMars and Mars Exploration Rovers. The main function of these vehicles consists of moving across planet surfaces, and drilling and retrieving samples for in situ analysis.

Vibration Reduction of Pneumatic Rock Drill for Rock Face Stabilisation Sector
Workers in the rock face stabilisation sector are exposed to high levels of vibration from pneumatic rock drills, which can lead to vibration injuries. The work situation is also ergonomically challenging since the work often is performed on steep cliffs with heavy equipment and a substantial degree of dust exposure.

A giant magnetic coercivity and a vertical shift of hysteresis loops are demonstrated in Sr3YCo4O10+δ epitaxial films. The hard magnetic behavior originates from ferromagnetic spin bags stabilized within a long‐range ordered oxygen‐vacancy structure.

Whole Body Vibration Analysis of Baby Hammock
Studies have been carried on the effect of rocking on a baby and concluded that baby sleeps easier while being rocked. In Malaysia, as in many Southeast Asian Countries, it is common to put babies to sleep in a baby hammock.
