This article features a comprehensive methodology for analyzing and optimizing PWM dead time in automotive traction inverters, applicable to a wide range of power devices, including Si IGBT/Diodes, SiC MOSFETs, and Si/SiC Fusion switches. The proposed methodology enables a systematic comparison of dead time characteristics, focusing on part‐to‐part ...

Based on the principle of circuit equivalence, this paper proposes a decoupling calculation method for the coupled parasitic inductance matrix. This method transforms the self‐inductances and complex coupled mutual inductances in the traditional coupled parasitic inductance matrix into single equivalent parasitic inductances.

Application-specific Micro Rogowski Coil for Power Modules -Design Tool, Novel Coil Pattern and Demonstration- [PDF]
We developed a printed circuit board “Rogowski coil” to improve the reliability of power modules and packages. For the design, we used a new tool for sensitivity and adopted a fishbone coil pattern to realize design sensitivity.

On the jets, kinks, and spheromaks formed by a planar magnetized coaxial gun [PDF]
Measurements of the various plasma configurations produced by a planar magnetized coaxial gun provide insight into the magnetic topology evolution resulting from magnetic helicity injection. Important features of the experiments are a very simple coaxial

ABSTRACT The optical emission spectra (OES) reflect the presence of excited states in the gaseous discharge, which are directly linked to the decomposition characteristics of insulating gases. In this study, a pin/rod–plate discharge reactor driven by either a high‐voltage direct current (DC) generator or a pulsed generator was developed to establish ...
