Operando Visualization of Dynamic Lithium and Electrolyte Transport in 18650‐Type Lithium‐Ion Cells
Nonlinear volume changes in commercial 18650 cylindrical cells were studied macroscopically, with a focus on electrolyte distribution. Using optical micrometry and neutron imaging, researchers observed anisotropic cell expansion linked to lithium transport and electrolyte redistribution.

The dense PPS‐separator prevents thermal runaway by allowing electron transfer through the steel needle during penetration, while the residual electrolyte enables brief ion migration and Joule heating, causing rapid electrolyte vaporization, collapse of the ion transport network, and a sharp drop in ionic conductivity.

Managing pests by increasing predators through late termination of cover crops
Adding cover crops to crop rotations can improve the sustainability and ecosystem functioning of agroecosystems. By delaying cover‐crop termination, growers can effectively increase natural enemy populations and reduce the need for chemical controls. Abstract BACKGROUND Adding cover crops to crop rotations can improve the sustainability and ecosystem ...

Genetic analyses of leaf traits in an interspecific Zoysia japonica × Zoysia matrella F2 population
Abstract Zoysiagrass (Zoysia spp.) is an important warm‐season turfgrass cultivated across tropical, subtropical, and temperate regions of the world. The genus is characterized by the presence of salt‐secreting glands on the adaxial leaf surface, which contribute to its high salt tolerance.

Abstract The final Stuart monarch, Queen Anne, has often been overlooked in studies of visual and material culture, particularly of fashion and dress. This article is the first to undertake a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the wardrobe accounts of Queen Anne, situating her consumption within the context of the eighteenth‐century fashion ...
