ROP

Proceedings of the 2018 ACM International Conference on Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, and Health Informatics, 2018
High-throughput RNA-sequencing (RNA-seq) technologies provide an unprecedented opportunity to explore the individual transcriptome. Unmapped reads are a large and often overlooked output of standard RNA-seq analyses. Here, we present Read Origin Protocol (ROP), a tool for discovering the source of all reads originating from complex RNA molecules.

ROPS Design for Pre-ROPS Tractors

Journal of Agromedicine, 1997
SUMMARY Tractor overturns are the leading cause of agricultural fatalities in the United States. Many of these fatalities could be prevented if the tractor was equipped with a rollover protective structure (ROPS). Of the estimated 4.8 million tractors, 2.8 million are considered pre-ROPS tractors (tractors that were designed prior to ROPS availability).

How Does Rop Work?

1984
Plasmids of the ColEl family provide a convenient model system for the investigation of the molecular mechanisms which regulate initiation of DNA replication in Escherichia coli. ColEl replicates in bacteria at a copy number of approximately 15. The observations that this copy number could be increased by mutagenesis and that some of these mutants are ...
