Numerical Study of Reverse-Rotating Wave in the Hollow Rotating Detonation Engines

This paper adopts the method of injection via an array of holes in three-dimensional numerical simulations of the rotating detonation engines (RDE) with hollow combustor using the premixed stoichiometric hydrogen-air mixture. The calculation is based on the Euler equations coupled with a one-step Arrhenius chemistry model.
