Revealing Physical Mechanisms of Spatial Pattern Formation and Switching in Ecosystems via Nonequilibrium Landscape and Flux

The universality of the landscape‐flux theory with the mode expansion method for analyzing spatial patterns is illustrated by applying it to vegetation patterns in semi‐arid ecosystems. Unveiling Surface Species Formed on Ni‐Fe Spinel Oxides During the Oxygen Evolution Reaction at the Atomic Scale

≈1 nm thick amorphous layer with a higher oxygen concentration is formed on the surfaces of pristine P‐doped NiFe2O4 and activated NiFe2O4. Ohmic Response in BiFeO3 Domain Walls by Submicron‐Scale Four‐Point Probe Resistance Measurements

Lateral transport measurements of multiferroic domain walls (DWs) in BiFeO3 thin films employing a novel, lithography‐free method are presented. Using a submicron‐scale multi‐point probe (MPP), ohmic DW conduction behavior is demonstrated, including the first collinear, four‐point resistivity value of a single DW, free of contact resistances.
