A Novel Evaluation Method for Vibration Coupling of Complex Rotor–Stator Systems in Aeroengines
With the increase in thrust–weight ratio of advanced aeroengines, the rotor and stator often exhibit comparable stiffness characteristics, leading to significant vibration coupling which harms the safety and reliability of operations.

Impulsive Control of the Rotor-Stator Rub Based on Phase Characteristic
An impulsive control method is proposed to eliminate the rotor-stator rubbing based on the phase characteristic. The relation between the vibration energy and the phase difference suggests the starting point for controlling the rotor-stator rubbing by ...

Design Theory of Stator and Rotor of PDM Based on Rack Gearing Principle
The stator and rotor contour designed by the traditional line pattern design method is not smooth at the joint of the cycloidal arc and the arc, where the stator rubber is continuously worn during operation, which will accelerate the damage of the rubber

Finite element calculations and experimental verification of the unsteady potential flow in a centrifugal volute pump [PDF]
In this paper we present a finite-element-based methode for the calculation of the unsteady potential flow in rotor/stator configurations. A numerical algorithm was developed to calculate the two-dimensional flow through a centrifugal volute pump, taking

Rotationally induced ingress in rotor–stator systems [PDF]
The presence of a rotating disk adjacent to a stationary disk forms a rotor–stator cavity known as a wheel-space. It is necessary for gas turbine wheel-spaces to be purged with sealing flow bled from the compressor to counteract the harmful effects of ingress.
