Rough I-Convergence

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica, 2014
In this work, using the concept of I-convergence and using the concept of rough convergence, we introduced the notion of rough I-convergence and the set of rough I-limit points of a sequence and obtained two rough I-convergence criteria associated with ...

A new application of reduced Rayleigh equations to electromagnetic wave scattering by two-dimensional randomly rough surfaces

open access: yes, 2001
The small perturbations method has been extensively used for waves scattering by rough surfaces. The standard method developped by Rice is difficult to apply when we consider second and third order of scattered fields as a function of the surface height.

Enhancing Corrosion Resistance and Mechanical Strength of 3D‐Printed Iron Polylactic Acid for Marine Applications via Laser Surface Texturing

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Laser surface texturing significantly improves the corrosion resistance and mechanical strength of 3D‐printed iron polylactic acid (Ir‐PLA) for marine applications. Optimal laser parameters reduce corrosion by 80% and enhance tensile strength by 25% and ductility by 15%.

New Uncertainty Measure of Rough Fuzzy Sets and Entropy Weight Method for Fuzzy-Target Decision-Making Tables

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2014
In the rough fuzzy set theory, the rough degree is used to characterize the uncertainty of a fuzzy set, and the rough entropy of a knowledge is used to depict the roughness of a rough classification.

Rough sets and matroidal contraction [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Rough sets are efficient for data pre-processing in data mining. As a generalization of the linear independence in vector spaces, matroids provide well-established platforms for greedy algorithms.

Dynamic Precipitation during High‐Pressure Torsion of a Magnesium–Manganese Alloy

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
An ultrafine‐grained alloy is produced by high‐pressure torsion of solutionized Mg–1.35 wt% Mn. Precipitation of nanometer‐scale Mn particles during deformation provides pinning sites. This prevents the formation of a bimodal grain structure and results in a finer grain size than for pure Mg.

Characterization of Defect Distribution in an Additively Manufactured AlSi10Mg as a Function of Processing Parameters and Correlations with Extreme Value Statistics

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Predicting extreme defects in additive manufacturing remains a key challenge limiting its structural reliability. This study proposes a statistical framework that integrates Extreme Value Theory with advanced process indicators to explore defect–process relationships and improve the estimation of critical defect sizes. The approach provides a basis for

The Role of Spatial Context Information in the Generalization of Geographic Information: Using Reducts to Indicate Relevant Attributes

open access: yesISPRS International Journal of Geo-Information, 2020
Generalization of geographic information enables cognition and understanding not only of objects and phenomena located in space but also the relations and processes between them.

Rough analysis in lattices. [PDF]

open access: yes
An outline of an algebraie generalization of the rough set theory is presented in the paper. It is shown that the majority of the basic concepts of this theory has an immediate algebraic generalization, and that some rough set facts are true in general ...

Study on the Rough-set-based Clustering Algorithm for Sensor Networks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
The traditional clustering algorithm is a very typical level routing algorithm in wireless sensor networks (WSN). On the basis of the classical LEACH (Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy) algorithm, this paper proposes an energy efficient clustering
